Most of my life has occurred in the New Orleans metro area in South-East Louisiana. I seem to enjoy the old and dirty parts of town: the areas where you can see the layers of paint on buildings, where there is a parking lot half grown over with weeds, the places where you can see old warehouses in the distance.
