Saandholland is a photographer/sculptor with studios in Roanoke and Lynchburg Virginia. She began her affiliation with Tri State in Radford,VA in 1990 as the conference speaker, long before there was any dream of becoming a visual artist herself. | Artist's Statement |
I am attracted to light, line, science and metaphor. Macro renderings of everyday objects and scenes are incorporated onto glass, aluminum and paper. I delight in making archival and weatherproof objects that can be used in homes,offices, barns, gardens and porches. |

Saandholland is represented by J. Pierce White Oak Gallery in Minneapolis Minnesota and Perspectives Gallery in Madison, Pennsylvania. Her work is in the permanent collection of the Academy of Fine Art in Lynchburg, Virginia and in collections throughout the US, Canada and Australia.
