Artist's Statement
My work over the past several years has become simplified and hopefully more poetic,
spiritual, and contemplative. My desire is to create works which convey a "state of
being" and use a poetry of materials, forms, and simple marks. I view my work as
traditional sculpture. That is, I am involved in creating 3-dimensional objects out of
materials that have a true sense of permanence and endurance as    ...... more
